SafeTracks™ will soon introduce the Domestic Violence Victim App to Survivors

Approximately every 6 days, a woman in Canada is killed by her intimate partner!

We applaud the great efforts of Canadian Women Shelters, frontline workers, and police in their continuing fight to “End Domestic Violence”. We at SafeTracks™ have been involved in this battle, in which our GPS Emergency Panic Device have been entrusted to safeguard some of the survivors while they struggle mentally and emotionally daily, never knowing what could happen next.

We have engaged with political leaders to utilize GPS Ankle Bracelets on the Offenders. With this Electronic Monitoring solution in place, we are able to set predetermined Inclusion/Exclusion Zones where the Offender cannot attend, such as the Survivors residence, work, schools or other other family members that may be at risk. This solution has worked in the past and is in operation in parts of Canada. As per this news story, the technology has evolved to another level. Now we can safely monitor both the Survivor and Offender, complete with a Safe-Zone to ensure that they do not unexpectedly and unintentionally intersect. This proactive approach eliminates the possibility of a potentially life-threatening situation before it happens.

Statistically, 80% of intimate partner homicides happen after the survivor leaves her offender. The goal is to Stop Domestic Violence, then we need to provide the Survivors with the best possibility of safety and survival. SafeTracks™ has been testing the App, and are very confident in the results. If you or someone you care about needs help, contact your local woman’s shelter immediately, you may save her life…literally.
